Auriculotherapy is a form of alternative medicine based on the idea that the ear is a micro system, which reflects the entire body, represented on the auricle, the outer portion of the ear. Auriculotherapy (ear acupuncture) is a common and effective way to treat pain and stress. Proponents of auriculotherapy suggest nearly any health condition can be addressed by this powerful technique. -Allergies -Anxiety -Back Pain -Depression -Insomnia -Menopause -Migraine -Chronic pain -Injuries The Ear seeds used do not puncture the skin and it is a pain free procedure. Seeds are crafted from the vaccaria plant then secured to acupoints on the outer ear with an adhesive tape. The vaccaria plant is known to balance energy, invigorate blood and further promote healing. Many patients will even press on them several times a day for additional benefits. Ear seeds can be left on for up to 5 days, even with showering, sleeping, swimming, etc. They may fall off sooner, depending on where they’ve been placed. After 5 days of wear, remove the seeds and allow the skin to rejuvenate for 8-24 hours before replacement. Following this cycle, you can continue to wear them on an ongoing basis. ** If you are pregnant please consult your doctor before using Ear Seeds.

Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATION POLICY We understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. Business meetings, project deadlines, flight delays, car problems, snowstorms, and illness are just a few reasons why one might consider canceling an appointment. In our desire to be effective and fair to all of our clients and out of consideration for our therapists’ time, we have adopted the following policies: • 48 hour advance notice is required when cancelling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment. If you are unable to give us 48 hours advance notice you will be charged the full amount of your appointment. This amount must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment. • No-shows: Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason will be considered a “no-show”. They will be charged $45 for their “missed” appointment and future service will be denied until payment is made. • Arriving late Appointment times have been arranged specifically for you. If you arrive late your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, your therapist will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the “full” session.
